Trash and recovery
Deleting a collection, folder, or saved request moves it to Trash instead of removing it immediately. The Trash tab in the sidebar shows a badge with the number of items it holds.
Restore an item
Section titled “Restore an item”Open the Trash tab and click Restore beside the item. Each item shows its original location as Collection / Folder and how long ago you deleted it.
Nouto puts the item back where it was:
- A collection returns to the sidebar.
- A folder or request returns to its original folder, at its original position.
- If the original folder no longer exists, the item goes to the root of its collection.
- If the original collection no longer exists, the item goes to Drafts.
Permanently delete items
Section titled “Permanently delete items”Click Delete permanently beside an item, or click Empty Trash in the Trash toolbar to remove every item. Both actions ask for confirmation and can’t be undone.
Trash limits
Section titled “Trash limits”Nouto removes items from Trash automatically:
- Items older than 30 days are deleted when Nouto loads your data.
- Trash holds up to 100 items. Deleting another item removes the oldest one.
Trash holds collection content only. Request history has its own delete and clear controls. See Request history.
