Nouto is an open-source API client for HTTP, gRPC, GraphQL, WebSocket, and SSE. It runs in VS Code, as a desktop app, and from the command line. It needs no account, sends no telemetry, and saves collections as plain JSON you can commit.

Requests for all five protocols live side by side in the same collections.
No account and no telemetry. Collections, environments, and history are saved as files on your machine.
In workspace storage, each request is its own JSON file under .nouto/, so commits and diffs stay small.
Run collections, benchmarks, imports, exports, and code generation from the CLI.
Import collections from another API client, an OpenAPI spec, a cURL command, or a HAR file. Postman environment files import too.
